Street Cleansing Operatives required for the Summer Season, for both weekday mornings and weekend afternoon/evenings. You must take pride in your work and care about keeping the City clean and tidy. The role is based around the Brighton and beach areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Litter-picking along the streets
- Emptying litter bins
- Deep cleaning areas
- Sweeping
- Using a barrow to move rubbish
For this position, you will need to be able to:
- Walk 7-10 miles per day
- Work on your own and as part of a team
- Work flexible hours across the 5 days
- Lift and carry some heavy and awkward shaped loads
- Interact with and assist members of the public
- Remain self-motivated to work hard
- Work outside in all weather conditions
No qualifications are required. You will be inducted and trained on your first day. Any uniform you are required to wear will be provided along with all the equipment you will need.
