What will you do? As a Cleansing Operative, your responsibilities include:
- Driving a vehicle to various locations to perform cleansing duties. (Full UK Driving Licence required)
- Emptying litter and dog bins to keep our streets tidy.
- Clearing fly‑tips and ensuring public spaces remain litter‑free.
- Cleaning public toilets to maintain hygiene and comfort for all users.
- Clearing detritus and litter picking within traffic management closures.
This role involves a lot of walking, lifting, and carrying, so you'll always be on the move!
What we're looking for: To excel in this role you should have:
- A good knowledge of the Yate area to navigate effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining public spaces.
- The ability to work independently, as some tasks will require lone working.
- A commitment to health and safety standards.
