Do you have experience working as a buyer within a manufacturing or engineering environment? Would you like to work for an industry leading defence company in Kent, offering first class training, progression opportunities and a lucrative company bonus?

Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a buyer to join their highly skilled supply chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Manager to purchase all materials for the company's business requirements, by collating and analysing order requirements and supplier information. Additionally, you will provide administrative support for the operations team and ensure that import and export procedures are carried out in accordance with current regulations.

This is a varied and interesting role for someone with a strong background in manufacturing or engineering, looking for an autonomous position within a reputable company that will support your continuous professional development.

The Candidate:

  • Must have experience working as a buyer within a manufacturing or engineering company
  • Must be looking for first class training and professional development
  • Must live a commutable distance from Sandwich, Kent
