T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary on-going basis with the potential to go permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly Company that has expanded over the years.

Stores Person Job Details & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • £12.71 per hour

Stores Person Duties

  • Receiving goods in and to assist in putting together kits ready for production
  • Checking incoming shipments against supplier paperwork and allocating parts to the correct kit boxes
  • Inspecting and labelling components
  • Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock and recording inventory levels
  • Checking kits against a bill of materials to ensure production have the correct parts in the correct quantities
  • Ensuring timely and accurate kitting according to production requirements
  • Identifying and communicating issues to relevant departments and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Suitably pack products immediately after inspection activity, taking customer requirements into account
  • Generate dispatch paperwork for daily shipments, including courier labels & internal dispatch notes
  • Take responsibility for checking all details match, escalating any concerns quickly
  • Manage the dispatch inventory, ensuring all necessary consumable items are available to allow shipment of product
