Location: Stonehouse GL10
Rate: £14.39 + holidays
Duration: 12 months+
Our client is seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to work as a member of the Dispatch Team primarily responsible for picking and packing customer orders and attaching all associated shipping documentation and palletising in readiness for carrier collection.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily picking and packing of customer orders.
- Putting away in set locations and booking onto IT system.
- Checking customer orders with accuracy and reporting any errors to the dispatch supervisor.
- Completing all dispatch paperwork to correct standards.
- Ensuring that all processes are carried out in line with standard operating procedures.
- Good, effective communications; raise any non-conformities to be actioned.
- Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team.
Skills:
- Good verbal and written skills.
- A proactive thinker with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge and basic user of Microsoft Office tools (SAP would be an advantage).
- Strong organisational skills.
