Location: Stonehouse GL10
Rate: £14.39 + holidays
Duration: 12 months+
Our client is seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to work as a member of the Dispatch Team primarily responsible for picking and packing customer orders and attaching all associated shipping documentation and palletising in readiness for carrier collection.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily picking and packing of customer orders
- Putting away in set locations and booking onto IT system
- Checking customer orders with accuracy and reporting any errors to dispatch supervisor
- Completing all dispatch paperwork to correct standards
- Ensuring that all processes are carried out in line with standard operating procedures
- Good, effective communications; raise any non-conformities to be actioned
- Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team
Skills:
- Good verbal and written skills
- A proactive thinker with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Knowledge and basic user of Microsoft Office tools (SAP would be an advantage)
- Strong organisational skills
