BDS Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an area manager to work for one of the North West's leading providers of leasehold retirement housing. Working from home and with travel – the area covers a patch of 12 sheltered housing sites across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire. The post holder will oversee and manage scheme managers and admin staff to ensure services are being delivered to a high standard offering residents exceptional customer service across leasehold retirement services.
Key duties include:
- Leading and developing the area team to ensure they meet their full potential and continue to deliver excellent services
- Accountability for implementing the customer engagement strategy at local level, ensuring that all customers have an opportunity to shape local provision and are encouraged to be involved in their local community
- Working with local providers, as appropriate, to ensure that high quality services are commissioned across all schemes.

- Good understanding of operational procedures in the management of retirement housing.
- Leaseholder knowledge
- Business and financial planning
- Budget management
- Safeguarding of vulnerable adults
- Strong people management
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder relationship management
