As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both academically and emotionally within the classroom. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, gaining valuable insight into school life and the teaching profession while making a positive difference to young people’s education and wellbeing.
We are looking for graduates who:
- Hold a UK bachelor's degree (ideally in a subject related to the school curriculum or in Psychology)
- Have experience working with children or young people – this could be through school placements, tutoring, youth work, or other relevant professional experience
- Are passionate about education and interested in pursuing a teaching career
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff and support pupils’ learning and personal development
- Can provide references covering the last two years
- Have a current DBS certificate on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for a new one
