I am actively searching for a Graduate Geologist to join an established environmental consultancy delivering ground investigation and contaminated land services from its Stockport office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a technical career within a practical, project-driven environment.

As a Graduate Geologist, you will work alongside experienced engineers and scientists on a wide range of site investigation projects. Based in Stockport, the role combines office-based reporting with regular site work, giving you early exposure to the full project lifecycle. You will assist with data collection, soil and groundwater logging, laboratory coordination, and the preparation of interpretive reports.

The role will suit a Graduate Geologist who is keen to develop strong technical foundations while learning how environmental risks are assessed and managed. Projects will vary in size and complexity, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes across the North West and surrounding areas, while being supported from Stockport by a collaborative and approachable team.

Candidate Requirements:
  • A degree in geology, environmental science, geotechnical engineering, or a related subject
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Live within a commutable distance of Stockport
  • Full Right to Work in the UK permanently
