Overview

A business doesn't just earn the title "world-leading defence manufacturer" by accident. They don't become a trusted supplier to militaries around the world by accident. And they definitely don't win multi-billion pound supply contracts by accident. They do, however, get there by being an industry pioneer, continually demonstrating engineering innovation and always going the extra mile for their customers. There is now an opportunity for a CMM Programmer to join them at their South Manchester HQ.

Responsibilities

  • As an experienced CMM Programmer, you will create inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines and ensure the machine is properly working throughout programming scripts and tests.
  • You will perform part dimensional data analysis, gauge control, gauge calibration, and testing.

Requirements

  • You must have considerable experience using software such as Polyworks, Calypso, and CAM2M10 to perform mechanical inspection and alignment of various components.
  • Exposure to manufacturing in Aerospace, MOD, Motorsport, Oil & Gas, or Nuclear is of particular interest.
  • This is a permanent role requiring the ability to travel internationally, as some training will take place in Hamburg, Germany and will require a secondment for 3 to 6 months.
