Initial 12-Month Contract. Stevenage preferred but open to Bristol or Bolton locations - x4 days onsite per week. £80ph, UMB, inside IR35. SC required, UK EYES ONLY.

Please note, this role will be working on "UK Eyes Only" programmes so is only open to sole British nationals, due to the nature of the work.

Overview of department: Seekers department develop RF Seekers for use in Missile products.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team developing system architecture and design utilising MBSE.
  • Deriving and managing requirements.
  • Communicating with various stakeholders within the Seeker team and the external customer and suppliers internal to MBDA.
  • Developing Physical and Functional Architecture using SysML techniques.
  • Developing Seeker Functional and Operational function and design.

Skillset/experience required:

  • Experience with deriving and managing requirements.
  • Experience with generating Functional and Physical Architecture using SysML, ARCADIA, or similar MBSE language.
  • Experience dissecting and understanding customer requirements and disseminating them down into lower-level subsystem requirements and complex functional architectures.
  • Consistent ability to deliver required output within agreed timescales.
  • Skill in cultivating strong relationships with colleagues, external departments and customers.
  • Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with Systems engineering tools like DOORS / DOORS Next / Rhapsody / Capella desirable.
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink desirable.
  • Knowledge of RF/microwave and electronic systems, radar and control systems, and digital signal processing is desirable.
