Role Overview
You will be responsible for producing a range of steel components, ensuring accuracy and a high standard of workmanship throughout each project.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting out materials and fabricating steel parts.
- Following engineering drawings to deliver precise, customer-specific work.
- Using workshop equipment such as hydraulic pipe benders, jigsaws, and band saws.
- Travelling to different locations using company transport.
- Conducting site assessments when required.
- Fitting items including ramps, handrails, and similar products on client premises.
- Inspecting finished items to maintain quality standards.
- Assisting with groundwork tasks, such as laying concrete flags.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Good physical fitness due to manual aspects of the job.
- A clean, valid UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable) and your own vehicle.
- Background in steel fabrication or installation is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
