Full training will be given. Temporary, initially until end of March 2027. Role is Tuesday to Saturday.
The lab analyses environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.
You will demonstrate the key capabilities of communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving and teamwork.
Common techniques used:
- ICP-MS
- AAS
- Ion Chromatography
- Continuous Flow Colour Chemistry
- Wet Chemistry Techniques
- BOD
- COD
You will be involved in sample preparation, and the analysis of samples, together with some hands-on analysis. You will be involved in reporting results.
Available to start within 4 weeks. Chemistry Degree or closely related, or A level Chemistry. Ideally already local to Exeter.
