The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Full training will be given. Temporary position, initially until the end of March 2027. The role is Tuesday to Saturday.

The lab analyses environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.

You will demonstrate the key capabilities of communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving, and teamwork.

Common techniques used:

  • ICP-MS
  • AAS
  • Ion Chromatography
  • Continuous Flow Colour Chemistry
  • Wet Chemistry Techniques
  • BOD
  • COD

You will be involved in sample preparation, the analysis of samples, and some hands-on analysis. You will also be involved in reporting results.

Person: Available to start within 4 weeks. Chemistry Degree or closely related, or A level Chemistry. Ideally already local to Exeter.
