Duties and Responsibilities of a Recruitment Manager
- Building a high performing team by leading from the front and building your own sales pipeline.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and strategy implementation and align the team to the business vision.
- Be a visible and proactive leader, supporting, challenging and holding people to account across the business.
- Represent the business where appropriate at internal and external events, meetings and training.
- Build and maintain the culture and act as a role model, supporting the values of the business.
- Deliver agreed financial performance for the team.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the team which deliver profitable growth including new business development strategy and Account management strategy.
- Develop team capability to inspire performance from others.
- Provide leadership, support, development and feedback to the management team (direct reports).
- Conduct regular performance reviews with your direct reports.
- Encourage collaboration within your direct team and further business.
- Identify underperformance and proactively develop solutions.
- Create compliance and buy in to agreed processes, systems and technology.
- Work with other departments to develop and implement relevant strategies.
- Ensuring that you exceed personal, and teams' weekly and monthly KPI's/Targets set.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience working in a Team Leader, Supervisory or Managerial role.
- Proven sales background and hunger to build your Individual sales portfolio.
- Experience and / or understanding of recruitment and or working within a freight role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Can do attitude, willingness to go above and beyond.
- MS Office skills (including outlook)
- Driven and ambitious outlook
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous exposure to a busy environment
- An understanding of Freight and logistics sector is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a customer/people facing role.
- Experience in a telephone-based role, managing and developing relationships.
