We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Plumber to join a well-established social housing maintenance contractor working on a single residential site in Lower Clapton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with no day-to-day travel and consistent work within one location.
The Role
You will be carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance within occupied social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- General plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Reactive maintenance works
- Planned maintenance tasks
- Fault finding and repairs
- Basic multi-trade duties including:
- Carpentry
- Tiling
- Patch plastering
- Painting & decorating
- Working within occupied properties and communal areas
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and residents
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience within social housing or property maintenance
- Strong reactive maintenance background
- Ability to carry out basic multi-trade works
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own tools required
