We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive with a strong background operating inbound group travel programmes across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing confirmed group bookings from start to finish, ensuring all services are booked accurately, competitively and delivered to the highest operational standards. This role would suit someone who thrives within a fast‑paced inbound travel environment, enjoys problem solving and relationship management, and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage confirmed group bookings from confirmation through to travel completion
- Liaise closely with Business Development teams to fully understand client requirements and quotations
- Source, negotiate and confirm suitable services at competitive rates
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and clients
- Ensure all supplier confirmations match contracted rates and agreed services
- Negotiate best possible commercial rates whilst maintaining service quality
- Prepare and manage rooming lists, vouchers and operational documentation
- Ensure systems are kept fully updated and organised
- Manage invoice amendments and ensure payment deadlines are met
- Work closely with accounts teams regarding payment terms and supplier agreements
- Participate in familiarisation trips where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Fluency in English and Spanish language skills essential
- Minimum 2 years experience within a UK & Ireland inbound tour operator in a group operations role
- Proven experience operating group travel programmes for international markets
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland destinations, suppliers and market pricing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
