Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious QA Inspector to join their business.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all incoming, packed, and outgoing products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, checking transport conditions, and reporting any issues.
  • Measure weights, colours, and defects, recording findings and making key decisions on whether sorting or additional actions are needed.
  • Conduct in-line checks throughout the packing process, ensuring supermarket specifications are met, reporting any GMP or quality concerns to management.
  • Re‑calibrate and check all technical equipment, ensuring compliance with customer and BRC standards, withdrawing any faulty equipment as needed.
  • Check label details for accuracy and compliance, ensuring all traceability and documentation meets official regulations.
  • Support and train new team members on QA procedures, product quality standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure risk assessments are up to date, report any accidents or near misses, and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with Production and Commercial teams to monitor reject rates, drive improvements, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Food manufacturing experience is required.
  • Able to work effectively at a fast pace.
  • Own transport and UK full working rights are required.
