An 'Outstanding' school in Southend‑On‑Sea is seeking outstanding Primary Class Teachers to join their highly successful team. This role is perfect for those who want to inspire a young person's life for the better. The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for working with youths, know how to handle tough situations, and resolve or deescalate situations in the correct and efficient manner. We are looking for dynamic and motivated Teachers with a passion for making a difference.

You will have the opportunity to work creatively and collaboratively, utilizing the extensive resources and expert support available to you. You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, using exciting and innovative methods that encourage curiosity and excitement in the classroom.

Primary school teacher duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparing teaching materials ahead of each lesson and teaching lessons
  • Organising the classroom, its display and the resources used
  • Evaluating pupils' homework
  • Keeping an eye on each child's progress
  • Working with other educational professionals such as social workers or psychologists
  • Communicating with parents
  • Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices

Person Specification - Class Teacher:

  • Must have UK QTS
  • Excellent record of knowledge and practice with children with SEN
  • Must have excellent communication skills
