We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Works Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting management with project timelines, resources, and teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects in accordance with client specifications and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong organisational skills to contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout all phases of the project.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues promptly.
- Supervise site activities, providing guidance and support to site management.
Skills
- Proven management experience within construction sectors.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Hold a SSSTS/ SMSTS Cert as well as CSCS, First Aid.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
