Overview
Service Care Solutions is delighted to work with a rapidly growing accountancy practice that is looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join their team. The role offers flexible hours and hybrid working, supporting a healthy work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients, keeping all financial records up to date and compliant with accounting standards.
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Conducting regular financial assessments and providing advice to clients regarding tax planning, financial strategies, and business growth opportunities.
- Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets based on client needs.
- Assisting with statutory financial accounts production for a variety of different clients.
- Acting as first point of call for clients, answering any queries and concerns as they arise.
- Assisting management of junior staff members.
Skills and Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, or QBE qualification.
- Minimum five years experience within a UK‑based accountancy practice.
- Experience with Sage and TaxCalc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
