Clinical Skill Set & Requirements

    • Obstetric Ultrasound: Conducting routine screening, anomaly scans, and growth monitoring.
    • Non-Obstetric Ultrasound: Performing General Abdominal, Gynaecological, and Small Parts imaging.
    • Reporting: Providing clear, concise, and accurate diagnostic reports independently.
    • Equipment: Proficiency with modern diagnostic medical sonography equipment.

Qualifications & Compliance

  • HCPC Registration: Must be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Specialist Qualification: CASE-accredited Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) or Certificate in Medical Ultrasound.
  • Experience: Proven experience working at Band 7 level within the NHS or private UK healthcare sector.
  • Compliance: Valid Right to Work in the UK, enhanced DBS on the update service, and up-to-date mandatory training.
