Are you compassionate, patient and looking for a truly meaningful career? EmpowerED Recruitment is working with a highly regarded specialist setting supporting pupils aged 2 - 16 years with severe and complex learning needs, including communication difficulties, sensory needs and physical disabilities. No prior school experience is required as full training and support will be provided. If you have the right attitude, empathy and willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
The Role
- Support pupils with severe and complex needs
- Work 1:1 and in small groups
- Help implement EHCP targets
- Support communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, visual aids - training provided)
- Assist with personal care where required (training provided)
- Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour support
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
