Overview: Plumber – Welwyn Garden City. Permanent Full-Time (40 hours per week). Salary: £35,000 Overtime & Call-Out (£10 15k). OTE: £45,000 £50,000.

Join a Growing Housing Association Team. We're looking for experienced Plumbers to join a busy and expanding team delivering repairs and maintenance services across social housing properties in Welwyn Garden City. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role with strong earning potential and excellent benefits.

The Role: Working within occupied residential properties, you will carry out a variety of day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plumbing repairs and maintenance across social housing homes
  • Completing additional multi-trade tasks (minor building, drainage, basic groundworks)
  • Using a handheld device (PDA) to receive and complete jobs
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced, reactive environment
  • Providing a high level of customer service when dealing with tenants
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking reliable and skilled plumbers who take pride in their work. You will:

  • Have experience in plumbing maintenance or repairs (social housing experience desirable)
  • Be confident working independently and managing your own workload
  • Be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Have strong health & safety awareness
  • Be confident using hand tools (own tools required)
  • Have a customer-focused approach, especially in occupied properties

Essential Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent / working towards)
  • CSCS Card (Blue preferred) or working towards
  • Full UK Driving Licence (minimum 12 months)
  • Own tools
  • Company van provided (work use)
