About the Role
We're working on behalf of a major UK infrastructure business delivering long-term highways maintenance and improvement works across a key regional contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with industry exposure, to join an established commercial team and gain hands‑on experience across live infrastructure projects. You'll be involved in the full commercial lifecycle, from early‑stage project input through to final accounts, working closely with operational teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting commercial management of projects from pre‑contract to completion
- Assisting with subcontractor management (tendering, awarding, valuations)
- Supporting monthly CVRs and forecasting
- Working towards agreement of final accounts
- Building relationships with internal teams and clients
- Ensuring processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
What We're Looking For
- Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or similar (or working towards)
- Some industry exposure (placement, internship or 1‑3 years experience)
- Interest in infrastructure, highways or civil engineering projects
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
