We are excited to announce an opening for a Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic team working with some of the world's most beloved chocolate and confectionery brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial division within a global FMCG business!
Position: Supply Chain Planner
Location: Slough (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday- Friday 8am:4pm)
Pay: £40,000 per annum + up to 10% company bonus
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborative Demand Planning: Execute a weekly and period demand plan, ensuring alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Production Planning: Translate customer demand into effective production plans for packaging, raw materials, and finished goods. Own strategies for promotions, limited-time offers (LTOs), and seasonal uplifts.
- Primary Supply Chain Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned quick-service restaurant (QSR) customers, distributors, and wholesale partners.
- SAP Management: Manage all stock movements using SAP, including raising purchase orders, creating goods receipts, and ensuring accurate stock listings.
- Service Level Tracking: Monitor and report service levels from co-manufacturers to identify trends and address issues.
- Problem Solving: Tackle challenges to ensure demand is met or escalate supply shortages as needed.
- Communication: Keep co-manufacturers informed of any changes to production schedules or demand, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on implications.
- Transport Coordination: Arrange transport for finished goods deliveries and manage procurement through to payment.
- Financial Transactions: Ensure timely financial transactions and accruals post-period end.
- NPD Participation: Actively contribute to weekly New Product Development (NPD) and implementation project meetings.
- Internal Coordination: Oversee multi-category sales orders to ensure timely stock availability across various categories.
