Description
- Take ownership of a portfolio of non-food products, driving commercial delivery and performance.
- Lead supplier negotiations, securing competitive pricing structures and added value opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver category initiatives and promotional activity.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent service and quality standards.
- Review market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for range enhancement.
Profile
- Experience in a buying, procurement, or category role within non-food sectors (e.g. packaging, catering supplies, janitorial or cleaning products).
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and delivering value.
- Confident managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
- Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities.
