FILTROX Carlson is looking for a Converting Operator to join its night shift production team. This is a practical, hands-on role involving machinery, packing lines, quality checks and the production of specialist filter sheet products. This role would suit someone reliable, practical and quality-focused who enjoys structured manufacturing work and takes pride in doing things properly.
About FILTROX Carlson: FILTROX Carlson is an established manufacturer of specialist filtration products used across industries including food and drink, life sciences, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. This is a stable manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy and safe working are central to the way the team operates.
What’s on offer:
- Permanent, full-time role
- Regular Monday to Friday night shift pattern
- Starting rate of £14.26 per hour
- Around £29,660 per year based on 40 hours per week
- Hands-on production role within an established manufacturing business
- Opportunity to build experience with machinery and specialist filtration products
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the production of filter sheet products to customer specifications, working safely and efficiently as part of the converting team.
- Feeding and setting up machinery for production
- Operating die cutting machines and supporting gluing processes
- Running packing lines and preparing finished products
- Inspecting, packing and checking filter sheet products
- Carrying out safety checks, pre-start checks and work area setup
- Completing quality checks and production records
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
- Working with the team to meet production and quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced in manufacturing, production, packing, machine operating or a similar hands-on environment
- Comfortable working with machinery and following set processes
- Reliable, punctual and happy working permanent nights
- Quality-focused with good attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures
- A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous converting, die cutting, packing line or machine operating experience would be useful, but the most important thing is that you are dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
