ADM Pressings is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to high-quality standards while working safely and efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Prepare materials and equipment prior to welding operations
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
- Experience with MIG welding essential; TIG welding experience desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
