Location: Basingstoke

Basic Salary: up to £55,000 + Time Saved Bonus (£300/£400) a Month

Hours: 07:30am - 17:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician. This role is perfect for someone with ATA accreditation or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) who thrives in a fast-paced accident repair centre. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications using the latest tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities for Panel Beater / Panel Technician:

  • Perform high-quality accident repairs, ensuring work meets manufacturer and customer standards
  • Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels
  • Use welding equipment, dent pullers, and filler techniques for panel repairs
  • Align body panels and parts for assembly and ensure a perfect fit
  • Work efficiently within a team to meet deadlines and production targets
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Stay up to date with modern vehicle repair techniques and industry standards

Skills and Qualifications for Panel Beater / Panel Technician: (Ideally not Essential)

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Panel Beating or Vehicle Body Repair
  • NVQ Level 3 / VCQ / SVQ / ATA accreditation or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician in a busy body shop
  • Strong knowledge of modern repair techniques for minor and moderate crash repair
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Manufacturer Approved / Insurance and Fleet
  • Self-motivated team player with a focus on customer satisfaction and bonus targets
