Health & Safety Manager Full Time - Permanent
Monday to Friday Office Hours
Basic Salary: £45,000.00 to £50,000.00 Per Annum
Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Due to further expansion plans, our market leading client is seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Health and Safety Manager to join their highly successful business and support the board of Directors as Health and Safety Manager on a Full Time Permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Taking on a leading role, become responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety onsite.
- Drive and innovate Health and Safety practices at the site in line with Company objectives and timescales.
- Dedicated and motivated in achieving ISO45001 certification in line with current company achievements.
- Improve and develop current policies and procedures and ensure measures are implemented to achieving standards.
- Organise and hold Health and Safety meetings to communicate new strategies.
- Liaise with regulatory organisations and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Work and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous Health and Safety improvements and practices.
Qualifications:
- A Minimum NEBOSH certificate or NVQ equivalent.
- A high level of knowledge around Health and Safety legislations and practices.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role as ideally a Health and Safety Manager.
- A Chemical and Manufacturing background would be highly desirable as a Health and Safety Manager.
