Our client, a well-established regional house builder with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across the South East, is looking to appoint an experienced No.2 Site Manager for a new development in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business on a flagship scheme consisting of 135 traditionally built private residential units.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of subcontractors on site
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Monitoring build quality and programme targets
- Coordinating trades and site logistics
- Conducting inspections and ensuring NHBC standards are met
- Supporting with customer care and snagging processes
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
Requirements
- Previous experience working for a house builder on residential developments
- Traditional build experience is essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work certification
- Ability to work effectively within a site management team
