Location: Sittingbourne

Key Details:

  • Permanent contract from day one
  • Brand new site opening – fantastic opportunity for a fresh start
  • Own transport is essential due to site location

Shifts & Pay Rates:

  • Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday shift patterns
  • 18:00pm – 04:30am: £15.50/hour, £18.44/hour (overtime after 40hrs)
  • 20:00pm – 06:30am: £15.75/hour, £18.69/hour (overtime after 40hrs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating vehicle movements to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
  • Directing incoming and outgoing traffic to designated areas.
  • Monitoring yard operations to ensure full safety compliance.
  • Identifying and reporting hazards promptly.
  • Managing trailer allocation and tracking available yard space.
  • Communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse teams.
  • Supporting smooth workflow across yard and warehouse operations.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised yard environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work.
  • Own transport required due to location.
