About the Candidate
We are looking for a Site Manager with proven experience across varied sectors and on projects up to £8m. The candidate will manage full site operations, client relationships and Principal Contractor coordination. Roofing experience on large-scale projects and warehouse site experience is required.
Project Details
The contractor is operating in and around Oxfordshire on a large 7,000 m² felt roofing scheme, including asbestos removal. Reporting to a Tier 1 Principal Contractor, the Site Manager must be strong on paperwork and follow Tier 1 processes.
Responsibilities and Client Wish List
- CSCS card relevant to the position.
- SMSTS or equivalent highly desirable.
- First Aid qualification.
- A construction related degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 highly desirable.
- Sound understanding and experience of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, including CDM.
- Good management, communication, operational planning and time-management skills.
