Freelance Site Manager TWC & 278 Works
Contract Details:
- Freelance / Contract Role
- £350 per day
- 12-month contract
- CIS or Ltd Company payment available
- Immediate start available
- Based in St Annes
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise all Temporary Works activities in line with regulations.
- Oversee Section 278 works, including highways and infrastructure interfaces.
- Ensure works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Liaise with subcontractors, local authorities, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain site health & safety compliance and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of TWC procedures and Section 278 works.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification.
- Temporary Works Coordinator qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to start immediately preferred.
