Chemical Production & Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

This is a hands‑on role combining chemical production support with warehouse operations, ideal for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and action daily shift instructions from management
- Inspect work areas and report or rectify any issues
- Carry out production and warehouse tasks safely and efficiently
- Complete batch paperwork, check sheets and picking documentation accurately
- Operate equipment within set parameters and guidelines
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across work areas
- Support stock control and order processing activities
- Pick, pack, load and unload goods for dispatch
- Communicate operational issues promptly to relevant teams
- Assist colleagues and other departments when required
- Follow all work instructions and company procedures
- Comply fully with Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Support emergency procedures when required
Essential
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities

- Previous experience in a similar production or warehouse role
- Forklift Truck licence (training can be provided)
