A well-established luxury coastal hotel in the heart of Sidmouth is looking to recruit a talented Chef de Partie to join its professional kitchen brigade. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef to work within a busy hotel environment focused on fresh, seasonal food and high standards of service. The successful candidate will work across various kitchen sections and will also cover a couple of breakfast shifts each week. The role would suit a reliable and organised chef who enjoys working with quality ingredients and takes pride in consistency and presentation. The hotel offers a busy food operation including breakfast service, lunch, afternoon dining, and evening restaurant service, all within a stunning seaside setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running and maintaining your designated kitchen section during service.
  • Preparing and cooking fresh food to a high standard.
  • Assisting senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
  • Covering breakfast service on selected shifts each week.
  • Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained.
  • Assisting with stock rotation, ordering, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Supporting junior members of the kitchen team where required.
  • Working efficiently during busy service periods whilst maintaining consistency.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a hotel, restaurant, or gastro pub environment.
  • Experience with fresh food kitchens.
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
  • Breakfast experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering quality food.
