As a successful candidate you will join a company that provides testing and inspection services to Power Generation facilities across the UK, Europe and the US. Your role will involve a wide variety of tasks each day, with a 60:40 split between site and office work.
Responsibilities- Protection testing of generators, substations and transformers at UK power generation sites.
- Work in the office to complete documentation and reports relating to tests.
- Develop expertise in electrical design, with design training available.
- HNC or above in Power sector.
- Working knowledge of power generation including 3‑phase power systems and testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
- Experience in commissioning and electrical design desirable, but training can be provided.
- Experience in testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
- Willingness to travel UK wide and stay away.
