Are you a holder of HND/HNC in the Power sector and looking to progress up the ranks long term? Do you want to increase your earnings with overtime opportunities?

As a successful candidate you will join a company that provides testing and inspection services to Power Generation facilities across the UK, Europe and the US. Your role will involve a wide variety of tasks each day, with a 60:40 split between site and office work.

Responsibilities
  • Protection testing of generators, substations and transformers at UK power generation sites.
  • Work in the office to complete documentation and reports relating to tests.
  • Develop expertise in electrical design, with design training available.
Qualifications
  • HNC or above in Power sector.
  • Working knowledge of power generation including 3‑phase power systems and testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
  • Experience in commissioning and electrical design desirable, but training can be provided.
  • Experience in testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
  • Willingness to travel UK wide and stay away.
