We are looking for an Instructor Demonstrator in Agricultural Engineering to join the college at Llysfasi. The role involves delivering practical sessions and providing hands‑on instruction to students in the Agricultural Engineering programme, preparing activity schedules, monitoring student progress and mentoring students to achieve their learning objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical sessions and curriculum designed for agricultural engineering students.
- Prepare a schedule of practical activities and ensure all practical sessions are carried out to high standard.
- Monitor overall progress of each student, helping them meet learning objectives and achieve full potential.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, creating a supportive learning environment.
Language Requirements:
Welsh language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates must demonstrate Level 3 Welsh language skills. A Welsh language assessment will form part of the selection process.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter.
- Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area.
- Able to confidently deliver high quality, effective practical sessions which enhance learning for our students.
- Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments.
