We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger to join our busy Finance team based at our Northop site. As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that the Purchase invoices are processed and paid in a timely and efficient manner. Monitoring financial records to ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures, you will reconcile and produce appropriate financial statements and reports liaising with college staff and external parties as necessary. You will assist with the development of financial procedures and systems and undertake general office administrative duties in support of the Finance function.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths.
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant professional area of expertise.
- Possesses AAT Intermediate level or equivalent financial qualification.
- Previous experience of working within a busy finance department.
- Experience of coordinating procedures or processes within a financial department.
- Competent user of IT - able to pick up new IT software and Finance packages easily.
- Also be able to navigate the Internet and Intranets.
