Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical instruction and demonstrations in Bricklaying to student groups.
  • Plan and schedule structured workshop sessions to support learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress, assess competence and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with student reviews, production of course results and support a caring learning environment.
  • Maintain professionalism, student discipline, attendance and punctuality.
  • Participate in staff development activities and pursue personal and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current developments in Bricklaying and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to support planning and delivery of effective practical workshop sessions.
  • Aware of quality standards in teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Good level of IT competence.
  • Capability to manage inappropriate behaviour promptly and effectively.
  • Team player able to support learners with practical skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe, clean and well-organised practical environment.

Welsh Language Requirement:
