Solihull College & University Centre is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer to teach A Level Law, delivering Year 1 and Year 2 on the linear AQA specification, within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment. This part‑time role offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to join a forward‑thinking Further Education team dedicated to student success.
Contract & Hours
30 hours per week. Actual salary up to £38,022.16 per annum (depending on qualification status).
Responsibilities
- Deliver A Level Law throughout Year 1 and Year 2 on the linear AQA specification.
- Support and engage with students.
- Plan lessons, assess work, provide progress feedback.
- Contribute to a cohesive curriculum within the Law department.
Qualifications
- You must have a degree in Law or a related subject.
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching A Level Law is essential.
- Experience delivering Criminology to an A level standard is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, flexibility, and a commitment to inclusive, student‑centred teaching are required.
