Our client is expanding their operations and needs a reliable, proactive Shift Engineer to help them scale. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same transitioning seamlessly from scheduled preventive maintenance to rapid-fire reactive repairs this is the role for you. This is a truly multi-skilled position. You will take ownership of the safety and performance of specialised dairy processing equipment, requiring a high level of competency in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
What you’ll be doing:
- Executing scheduled tasks as allocated via the IFS Service and Maintenance system.
- Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns across the plant to minimise downtime.
- Applying a methodical approach to fault-finding to ensure all repairs are completed Right First Time.
- Maintaining high standards of operational safety across all process machinery.
What you’ll bring:
- A time-served apprenticeship within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience working safely on complex process equipment (comprising both electrical and mechanical systems).
