Position: Landscape Operative / Tree Planter

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri)

About the Role

Our client, a leader in commercial tree moving since 1963, is looking for experienced Landscape Operatives, Tree Planters, and Tree Spade Operatives to join their team. Based at their dual depot and office facility in Radlett, you will work on projects nationwide. This specialist role involves the supply and planting of large mature trees and the relocation of trees using specialist machinery, including tree spades, contributing to the delivery of high-quality landscaping and tree planting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out landscaping and tree planting works to a high standard
  • Operate or assist in operating tree spade machinery for lifting, moving, and planting large trees (where trained)
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Follow instructions and use initiative when required
  • Travel as needed, including occasional overnight stay

About You

  • Experience in landscaping, tree planting, or operating plant machinery preferred
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • CSCS card (desirable)
