Our client is seeking a Biochemical Scientist / Engineer - Upstream with experience in cyanobacterial or microbiological biotechnology to join their team based in the Midlands. This role involves designing and executing experiments to optimise cyanobacterial cultivation, developing culture conditions, and scaling up cultures from laboratory to pilot scale.
The successful candidate will operate photobioreactors, support genetic engineering strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust biological processes for industrial applications. - PhD in biotechnology, microbiology, bioengineering, synthetic biology, or a related field / experience.
