Student Teachers (Primary) - Gain Paid Classroom Experience This Summer Term

Are you a Primary Student Teacher looking to gain valuable, hands‑on classroom experience before completing your training? Tradewind Recruitment is inviting enthusiastic and dedicated Student Teachers to register with us for flexible work opportunities across South Yorkshire this summer term. The Role

  • Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings
  • Work around your existing commitments on a flexible basis or undertake a long‑term role
  • Work as a TA, HLTA, undertake small‑group interventions or support SEND on a one‑to‑one basis
  • Gain exposure to different schools, teaching styles, and environments
  • Build experience that strengthens your CV ahead of securing your first ECT role

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently studying a Primary PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Passion for education and supporting young learners
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach in the classroom
  • Available between now and the end of July 2026
