Processing Operative South Yorkshire (Rotherham / Barnsley / Sheffield)

£26,000 - £33,000 per year (DOE)

Winner Recruitment are currently working with a number of clients across South Yorkshire who are looking to expand their teams with experienced Processing Operatives. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a background in metal processing, recycling, or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating processing machinery including shears, balers and shot blasters
  • Carrying out general processing and production duties
  • Sorting and handling metal materials
  • Working to production targets and site requirements
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
  • Previous experience in metal processing, recycling, waste, or manufacturing
  • Experience operating machinery (shears, balers, shredders, etc.)
  • FLT / forklift licence preferred but not essential
  • Overhead crane experience beneficial
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work as part of a team
