Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / LEV Engineer required to join a Global Engineering Service provider. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / LEV Engineer will provide LEV testing, calibration, and certification services for controlled environments, Cleanrooms, medical gas systems, and laboratory instrumentation. Full training provided.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / LEV Engineer will ideally have an engineering background within LEV testing or servicing, within Cleanroom / laboratory LEV, industrial / process extraction, Containment / High - Hazard LEV, or similar LEV environments.

  • £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Role:

To provide LEV testing, calibration, and certification services for controlled environments, Cleanrooms, medical gas systems, and laboratory instrumentation. Willingness to cover the local area for the candidate, but be prepared for ad hoc travel across the UK, with overnight stays. Working on LEV systems, dust extraction, fume extraction, as well as similar filtration systems and products. Assist in setting up, executing and documenting test procedures. Use test equipment and logging tools to capture data. Support calibration, maintenance and verification of test equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Proven engineering background within LEV testing or servicing, within Cleanroom / laboratory LEV, industrial / process extraction, Containment / High - Hazard LEV, or similar LEV environments.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Filtration Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer, LEV / Ventilation Engineer or similar.
  • Hold a valid P601 is essential, further COSHH P certifications are beneficial.
  • Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
  • An engineering qualification would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and travel around the UK as and when required.
  • Willingness to be on an on-call rota, 1 in 4.
