You MUST pass a drug and alcohol test for this role. This is a role for someone who is happy to work inside and outside in various weather conditions, carrying out manual work within a small team of Yard Operatives. It is also for someone who is looking to learn and develop as there are opportunities to gain various training and tickets (e.g., forklift licence). Most important to this role is attitude and reliability - you will be at the Shaftesbury site full time. You may also work in confined spaces and training will be provided for this.

Duties:

  • Assisting other operatives with the acceptance and disposal of waste.
  • Labelling and storage of waste.
  • Cleaning of site and associated areas.
  • Assisting in stock control.
  • Assisting staff with the disposal of containers, drums, IBCs and general site waste.
  • Operation of power tools.
