What you will be doing:
- Picking orders accurately using in-house software and handheld scanners
- Manual handling of palletised goods and general warehouse tasks
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely
- Operating ride-on pallet trucks and forklift trucks (training provided for counter-balance forklifts)
- Completing loading administration tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Emptying store bins and operating waste compactors
- Assisting with supplying the pack house and general housekeeping duties
- Monitoring plant functions and reporting any issues or breakdowns
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, following company policies
What you will bring:
- Current ride-on pallet truck licence and a valid driving licence
- Good numeracy skills and basic computer literacy (Windows)
- Physically fit with good stamina for manual handling tasks
- Willingness to learn new skills, including forklift operation
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail
Desirable skills:
- Experience operating counter-balance forklifts and live stock management systems
- Background in fresh produce or logistics environments
